Zev Levi followed six strangers who entered a small shipping container in the middle of the desert, and pretended they were on Mars. These “analog astronauts” were all volunteers on a science experiment testing the effects of isolation on would-be Martian explorers. For eleven long days, these lab rats kept the elaborate fantasy alive - real spacesuits and everything. But when the experiment ended and they all came back to Earth, that’s when things really started to get strange.
